About

Born and raised in Vietnam with a background in traditional tailoring, Chi’s perspective on construction was solidified during a year at Rainy Pass Repair, Inc. in Seattle. Today, she works in Ho Chi Minh City, narrowing the gap between high-level outdoor gear logic and the realities of commercial manufacturing.

Her process is driven by a deep respect for the environment and a commitment to conscious creation. By focusing on precision in Optitex, she aims to minimize waste and maximize longevity. For Chi, the most sustainable way to create is to build gear that is treasured for decades, rather than seasons.
